A calm, predictable home with clear routines, so children can stop bracing for the next move.
A small, stable team and a key worker for every child โ people who are kind and keep their promises.
Children's views shape their care, their bedroom, their meals and the way the house runs.
Full-time education agreed before arrival, with real help with homework, reading and school life.
Each child's culture, faith, language and identity is valued, celebrated and supported.
Everyday life skills and planned, unhurried moves on to whatever comes next.
Hello, I'm Pip! Phoenix Nest is a small home โ just two children โ so the grown-ups really get to know you. Come and have a look around.
We are a trauma-informed, relationship-based children's home caring for up to two children at a time. Being small is the point: it lets us know each child properly, keep life ordinary, and give the steady attention that helps children recover and rebuild trust.
A detached, single-storey house on a quiet residential street, with a bedroom of their own for each child and a garden to enjoy.
Close to Saltaire village, Roberts Park, schools, Shipley College and good bus and rail links to Bradford and Leeds.
We help children keep โ and, where safe, strengthen โ relationships with family and friends.
Many of the children we expect to care for will have experienced trauma, neglect, family breakdown or several moves in care. Our purpose is to give each child a safe, warm and stable home where they can recover, rebuild trust in adults, do well at school and prepare for their future.
The name says what we hope for every child: a safe nest to rest and grow, and the chance to rise again after difficult experiences.
Rest today. Rise tomorrow.
Small in size. Steady in care.
We work closely with placing authorities to make sure every match is right for the child โ and for the child already living here.
